CONDITIONS
Below you will find conditions for members and customers at The Pilates Place org no 921449305. In the following referred to as "we" and "our".
The conditions describe how you create a membership, register for classes and what applies when you train with us.
On our app and website you can see which classes we offer. You can also see the types of membership we offer.
CLIP CARD
If you buy a clip card, you pay for a certain number of classes. There are different clip cards. You can only use the clip card for what it is intended for. For example, 10 group clip, will only be used for group classes.
When you sign up for a class, a clip is reserved. You must remember to cancel the class at least 24 hours before the class starts. If you cancel the class later than 24 hours or do not show up, you will automatically lose that clip.
A clip card with one clip or a trial lesson is valid from the date of purchase and 30 days forward, unless otherwise agreed upon with the instructor.
Clip cards with 5, 10 or 20 clips are valid from the date of purchase for 90 days. In the case of offers and campaigns, however, the period may be shorter. The expiry date will be stated in connection with the purchase.
Unused clips are not refunded and it is not possible to extend the period. There is no refund on clip cards.
When you have purchased a clip card via the website or the app, your clips are automatically added to your profile.
MEMBERSHIP WITH MONTHLY PAYMENT
The membership runs for one month at a time, and continues until you cancel it.
The membership comes into effect at the time of purchase and there is no right of withdrawal upon purchase.
Membership is paid in advance per month.
If you wish to cancel your membership, you can do so at any time and the membership expires after 30 days in the following month. This means that you are always drawn once after a termination.
Membership can be canceled via our website or app.
If you have booked a class and do not turn up, it costs NOK 100, if you have a subscription with us.
We automatically deduct the amount once a month.
If you cancel later than 24 hours, it costs NOK 50. We automatically deduct the amount once a month.
If your payment card expires or becomes invalid, it is your responsibility to link a new or different card via our website or app.
WHEN YOU TRAIN WITH US
You must be 14 years old to be a member or to participate in our classes. If you are under the age of 14, we will ask you to contact us for an individual assessment in consultation with your guardians
All training in our premises are at your own risk. This applies to both members and guests of the house.
You yourself are responsible for being in a state of health that allows participation in the classes you sign up for, and if you are in doubt, contact your doctor or other therapist to get an assessment.
It is mandatory that you wear stockings/socks, preferably with a non-slip surface, when you participate in our classes.
We do not accept responsibility for your personal belongings
Your membership/clip card is personal. Monthly memberships and clipp cards cannot therefore be transferred to, shared with or used by anyone other than you.
Membership is binding for both parties
Conditions and prices are subject to change with 30 days notice. Notification will take place via newsletter, if you have opted out of receiving our newsletter, you yourself are responsible for keeping up-to-date on changes in prices and conditions via our website.
We have classes 5 days of the week. On the most common holidays and public holidays, the studio will be closed, or the timetable will be changed. However, there are always opportunities to make direct arrangements with instructors if necessary. This means that there will be short periods when classes are not held.
Situations may arise where we may have to change the timetable or that a class is cancelled. If an appointment is cancelled, you will be notified by us as soon as possible, either by email or SMS. You will be able to make up the class at a later time. Those of you who have clip cards will not be charged for that hour.
The studio is closed in July and memberships will automatically be frozen this month, at no cost to the customer.
It is possible to freeze your account 1 month at a time during the membership period, this will cost NOK 200 in administration costs.
You can book classes 4 weeks in advance.
If you have booked 2 classes on the same day, we reserve the right to deregister you from one class, if there is a waiting list. To begin with, we delete the booking with the most participants on the waiting list. Therefore, keep an eye on your booking and which class you are registered for, if you book 2 classes on the same day.
You can register on the waiting list for a class. You are on the waiting list until 12 hours before the start of the class, which means that you can be registered for the class up to 12 hours before the start of the class. If you come to the class, you will be notified via SMS and email. When you are registered for the class after you have been on the waiting list, the same fees and rules apply as for late cancellation or which you can read about under rules for clip cards and monthly membership. You will always be able to follow your position on the waiting list either on our app or website.
The instructor checks you in when you arrive for class. If you arrive late for class, it is your responsibility that the instructor has checked you in.
FORCE MAJEURE
Force majeure is an event over which no one has influence and which cannot be foreseen.  This for example can be in the event that the authorities limit our ability to stay open and hold classes, where we cannot provide our members with the benefits they have purchased. If force majeure occurs, no compensation will be given as a starting point.
GENERAL
When creating a profile and making a purchase via our website and app, we will use your contact information to be able to create or register your purchase. Your information is only used for this purpose and will not appear anywhere else. The use of your information is confidential and in accordance with all applicable rules for handling private persons' information. Use of your private information in other contexts or with a third party can only take place on condition that you give your consent.
On our website and app, payment can be made by card (VISA/Mastercard, etc.)
Membership conditions:
The Pilates Place offers 2 memberships
Train once a week NOK 1,600 per month (ie NOK 400 per hour)Train twice a week NOK 2,400 per month (ie NOK 300 per hour)
If customers are unable to participate one week, they will always be able to make up their class within the same month.
It is possible to freeze the membership for up to 1 month.
There is a 6-month binding period for both subscriptions, which comes into effect at the first payment.
If you have booked an appointment and do not cancel within 24 hours, nor show up for the appointment, you will automatically be charged 100 per hour.
In July, the studio is closed and all memberships are automatically frozen for one month.

Conditions for automatic withdrawal:
Members of The Pilates Place can themselves sign up for automatic withdrawal of subscriptions by logging in to thepilatesplace.no. When signing up for automatic withdrawal, the member accepts that The Pilates Place can automatically deduct the specified subscription price from the specified payment card. When a member signs up/changes their subscription to automatic withdrawal, a confirmation receipt is sent. It is the member's own responsibility to ensure that correct card information is provided. The subscription will not be renewed if the member changes cards/the card is closed. An e-mail will be sent to the member stating that the subscription will not be renewed, and the card details must be updated.
Membership is automatically renewed every month.
Termination of membership:
Memberships associated with "Automatic withdrawal” can be terminated at any time. The termination is done on the member's own profile. If doubts arise as to whether a membership has been terminated, the member must be able to prove that a termination has undoubtedly taken place with a date and receipt from The Pilates Place.
